Jivamukti Yoga is a path to enlightenment through compassion for all beings. One of the nine internationally recognized styles of Hatha Yoga, a Jivamukti class is a rigorous but not necessarily advanced asana class that includes attention to details as well as the big picture. It includes chanting, yogic scriptures, music, meditation, and, importantly, elevated intention. Jivamukti means “liberation while living”. Steady and consistent practice will guide your body and soul into spiritual freedom, physical strength, peace of mind, better health, and self-realization – the ultimate goal of any practice.

The practice is designed specifically to be safe and supportive for all stages of pregnancy and modifications are offered in those situations where something special is required! Prenatal yoga has been shown to ease many common pregnancy aches, pains and symptoms while helping to prepare the body, mind and soul for the process of birth – and the labor of love that is new motherhood. Many mamas swear by prenatal yoga to make pregnancy and birth easier, more enjoyable, and more connected.
Mom and Baby Yoga
Bring your baby and your post-partum body (or if you’ve adopted or are fostering your baby, come on in! Big mama tent! Brave papas welcome too!) and we’ll all do what needs to be done to try and get you a yoga practice in between feedings, changings, burpings…
